  7. I got super panicky that maybe my phone had been “hacked” because I was still rocking old iOS and I updated. I really, really hate this “glass” shit. I also hate all the little weird animations when opening or closing something. Why?!

  8. It’s impressive how Amazon keeps making its iOS Kindle more and more inconvenient to use. First, adding a “Home” page that it always opens to, so that I have to do a separate extra click to get to my “Library” of books. (I barely even see the Home page, it’s just an extra unwanted step to get to my books.) And now there’s this weird hovering bar at the bottom, taking up space, with the name of the book I was just reading — so I can easily return to it, I guess, but when was that a problem? 🙄

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
